This week we are going to look at materials and change. I want you to read the chapter in your small world book below and then I want you to try out the experiment I have outlined here. There is a video of the experiment on See Saw. You should have these materials at home.
Frankenstein’s Hand Science Experiment Using Vinegar and Baking Soda (There is a video to go along with this see can you make your own video of the experiment or take some pictures of the experiment yourself).
Materials
Frankenstein’s Hand
    You will need:
3 Tablespoons of Vinegar
    Drinking Glass
    2 Teaspoons of baking soda
    Rubber glove

Directions

1. Pour the 3 Tablespoons of Vinegar into the glass.
2. Spoon the baking soda into the glove.  Hold the glove by the wrist and shake the powder into the fingers.

3. Carefully attach the glove to the glass keeping the baking soda in the fingers of the glove.
4. Pull the glove upright releasing the baking soda into the vinegar.
5. What happens, try to make a video or take a picture of your glove.
